Leef Dierks is leaving Morgan Stanley, where he was head of covered bond strategy, as part of a round of job cuts at the US bank.

Dierks had been at Morgan Stanley for two years, having joined from Barclays Capital in January 2011. He had worked at Barclays from March 2006.
