Jan King is understood to be leaving Landesbank Baden-Württemberg to join Royal Bank of Scotland, where a covered bond analyst recently switched to debt capital markets.

His move comes as Sophia Kwon moves internally to work in DCM at RBS. It is understood that King will step into Kwon’s position.

King has been working as a senior credit analyst with Ralf Burmeister and Christian Enger on covered bond research at LBBW. Florian Eichert left LBBW’s covered bond research team last summer, ultimately joining Crédit Agricole.

King has been at LBBW since 2006.
