LBBW has seasoned analyst to take on covered bonds in Hauser

Landesbank Baden-Württemberg has appointed long-serving analyst Alexandra Hauser to its covered bond team to replace Jan King, who is due to leave the bank this autumn.

Hauser began working as a senior credit analyst on covered bonds at the beginning of this month, and will share responsibility for Landesbank Baden-Württemberg’s covered bond research with Christian Enger, also senior credit analyst at the bank.

Before moving to her new credit research role Hauser worked for 12 years as an equities analyst, most recently as manager of LBBW’s engineering and industrial equities team. She joined LBBW in 1994, and after completing a training programme worked in the bank’s controlling department for four years.

Her focus was on strategic bank management, dealing with issues concerning asset and liability management in the context of refinancing requirements, including in relation to specific products such as Pfandbriefe, Hauser told The Covered Bond Report.

King will be leaving LBBW in the autumn to join Royal Bank of Scotland in London, while Ralf Burmeister, LBBW’s head of covered bonds and financials research, is also understood to be leaving, having lined up a position at DWS Investments.
