Dutch DACB launches dedicated covered bond website

The Dutch Association of Covered Bond Issuers (DACB) has launched a website showcasing information about the association and the Dutch covered bond and mortgage markets, with links also provided to issuers’ investor reports.

The site went live last Friday (13 July), and can be found here: www.dacb.nl.

Jac Besuijen, president of the association, said that the website is intended to serve as a platform for information for investors.

“It is a first draft, and we will continue to work on it, taking into account feedback received,” he said. “We are, for example, hoping to expand the research page by providing more reports that can be downloaded directly from the website.”

The website currently features four Dutch covered bond issuers – ABN Amro, ING Bank, NIBC, and SNS Bank – as these are full members of the association because their programmes are registered with the Dutch central bank.

Achmea’s covered bond programme is not registered with De Nederlandsche Bank and the issuer cannot therefore become a full member, according to Besuijen, but information about Achmea’s programme will still be made available on the association’s website in due course.
