José Sarafana started at Aurel BGC today (Monday) after having left Société Générale, where he was head of covered bond strategy.

At French brokerage Aurel BGC, Sarafana is working in credit sales involving covered bonds, bank credit and other credit products. He reports to Alexandre Topolanski, who runs the credit sales desk.

Sarafana left his research position at SG on 15 May, having worked at the French bank since 2004. At SG, Jean-David Cirotteau is now responsible for covered bond research as well as securitisation.
