Michael McCormick is set to join Credit Suisse as head of origination from HSBC next month, replacing Richard Kemmish, who left the firm in February.

McCormick is understood to be joining Credit Suisse in early July. He will report to Marcus Schulte, head of financial institutions DCM in EMEA.

McCormick was director, structured finance, and co-head of covered bonds at HSBC, with Hugo Moore the other co-head. He had been at HSBC for some 10 years.

Credit Suisse’s previous head of covered bond origination, Richard Kemmish, left the firm in February and is working as an independent consultant.
