Jez Walsh – formerly head of covered bond syndicate at RBS – is joining Daiwa Capital Markets as co-head of its London bond syndicate.

Walsh left RBS in autumn 2014 after 15 years at the bank and the old ABN Amro before it was taken over.

He starts at Daiwa next week, working alongside Kevin O’Neill.
