New database feature: Volume tables added to functionality

We have enhanced The Covered Bond Report database so that users can now look up supply in different currencies over a specified period and break down results by parameters such as jurisdiction and currency, and hope you find this extra functionality useful.

The Covered Bond Report’s database was originally conceived for two reasons: to enable us to link deal data with relevant coverage and the respective issuers to make it easier for users to find relevant information; and to produce the all-important league tables!

Having built up a database of well over a thousand benchmarks, we have now introduced a more analytic function, allowing users to produce volume tables. This is accessible via the “Data: New features” link on the main blue menu above when in the news section of the website, and within the database section by clicking on the “Volume table” link.

Once there, you can look up issuance by currency, date, nationality, etc – with the possibility of making multiple selections – and choose how the resulting data will be broken down and the currency it will be reported in.

We have endeavoured to make this work as smoothly as possible, but please let us know if you find any glitches in the functionality. We are already working on making this even more useful and would also welcome any suggestions you have on how we could further improve it or other sections of the database or website as a whole.
