Société Générale has dropped Fitch from its obligations foncières programme, although the issuer still has two ratings for its SCF’s issuance and is retaining Fitch for its obligations à l’habitat.

Fitch affirmed and withdrew its AAA rating of Société Générale SCF’s OFs on Friday, as well as its rating of the SCF.

“Fitch has withdrawn the OF’s ratings as SG SCF has chosen to stop participating in the rating process,” said the rating agency. “Therefore, Fitch will no longer have sufficient information to maintain the ratings.

“Accordingly, Fitch will no longer provide ratings or analytical coverage for SG SCF OFs.”

Moody’s and Standard & Poor’s rate SG’s OFs, while Fitch will continue to rate SG’s obligations à l’habitat alongside Moody’s.
